Blog Prompt: From Nobody to Somebody

This Organization doesn't answer all of the problems, but I think it's a start,  MASK: Mothers Against Senseless Killin g. As Hill address in his book, police and government often don't better these communities when they intervene. What I love about MASK is that it's an internal solution and they have been very successful at keeping their communities safe. Donations allow these mothers to hold cookouts, supports groups, actives, and charity drives for their communities.  I think the external help financially is great, but it's best used the way members living in the community decide for solving their own issues-- the hardest part is finding ways to organize and empower people, but once done with a clear mission it is best for those with lived experience to communicate their needs and others can join to work to solve them.
